Other areas to explore:

Jávea is made up of three areas.

1/ The Arenal with its beautiful sandy beach, bars and restaurants. During the summer evenings the Arenal is busy with crafts stalls, artists and musicians.

2/ The port area with its fish market and promenade.

3/ The old town with its narrow streets, shops, historic buildings. There is a colourful market every Thursday morning.

10k from Jávea is the town and port of Denia with daily crossings to the Balearic islands. Denia boasts miles of sandy beaches with its tree lined streets, pavement cafés, bars and restaurants.

The resort of Benidorm is only a 40 minute drive away and close by is Terra Mítica, which is one of Europe's largest theme parks, you can also visit Aqualandia a themed water park and next door Mundomar with its dolphins, seals and parrots. A drive to Guadalest is a must with its quaint shops, narrow cobbled winding streets and spectacular views from the village square.

Jávea Town: Jávea lies between pine-covered Cabo De La Nao to the South and Cabo De San Antonio to the North. The town is ideal for a family holiday, especially in the Spring when the area is ablaze with blossom from the almonds and the scents of orange and lemon trees fill the air. The World Health Organisation has proclaimed Jávea to be ‘environmentally near perfect’ and you can bask in the Costa Blanca’s brightest sunshine here on about 320 days of the year.

Jávea old town nestles at the foot of 2,500 feet Mount Montgo, a designated nature reserve. It boasts a 16th century church, covered market and for the historically minded a museum housing a nationally important collection of rare Iberian finds from Montgo. After exploring the town’s fascinating narrow streets, you can make your way to the old fishing port about 1 mile away. To the south of the old town lies the Arenal beach, a broad crescent of fine golden sand backed by a promenade of shops and restaurants.

La Guardia/Cabo De La Nao areas: Be sure to stop at the ‘Miradors’ (viewing points), several of which are located within a 5 minute walk from the villa. Without exception, they offer stunning views from cliff top perches of rocky coves and crystal clear water. This is snorkelling territory at its best, reminiscent of Cornwall but with guaranteed good weather! From Cabo De La Nao, it is possible on a clear day to see all the way to Ibiza 100 kms away. Also close by is the idyllic bay of La Granadella, so picturesque that it is often featured on Jávea’s postcards.

Mirador

Had a great week at the villa with the whole family. Villa of very high standard and location and views out to sea were superb. Great support from Dean and Louise and hope to return again

We spent a very enjoyable 2 weeks at this villa. The views are incredible and you never tire of watching the passing boats and jet skis The gardens are lovely but would benefit from more comfortable seating and the parasols need replacing The interior of the villa is very spacious except for the kitchen but as most eating is obviously outside this is not too much of a deterrent. We agree with a previous review as we also noticed flooding from the showers in two of the en suites We were very disappointed that the bed linen was not changed during a 2 week stay for the cost of the rental this is surprising with every other villa that we have rented this has always been included We would return if things were rectified We could then return to the mirador restaurant - it’s great.

Hi Rosemary, thanks for your review and we are so glad you enjoyed your stay. We would ask that in future if you have any issues at any of our properties while staying with us that you inform us at the time and we will make sure the issue is corrected, such as the showers. Regarding the mid-stay linen change this is clearly stated as an added payable extra as part of the booking process and if you had asked for a change we would have accommodated your request. Thanks again  Dean, Louise and all the White Coast team.

Mirador de ensueño.

Excelente casa, impresionantes vistas, tranquila estancia.

Mrs

On arrival at Mirador we were blown away with the outside space and the view is to die for! Inside however we had a few issues. Two out of three of the bathrooms flooded when in use and the master bedroom was blocked and smelt badly of sewage. We stopped using this bathroom and kept the door closed! We had lots of dirty crockery left by the cleaners but this was rectified straight away. On the plus side, the beds were extremely comfortable as was the living room furniture. Could do with more comfy outside sofas though. The kitchen is very small but fairly well equipped and the bbq was brilliant. I would give this villa 7/10 - if the shower trays were better and didn’t leak everywhere and no smell it would be a 9.

Dear guest, thanks for your honest review which always help us to improve our service. We apologised for the oversight regarding the dirty bowls that had been restacked in the cupboard at the time and we have made the necessary changes to our cleaning practices to make sure this cannot happen again. As you say we delivered a full clean set of crockery within an hour. We will let the owners know of your comments regarding more comfy outside furniture but this has never been flagged up before by previous guests as an issue. The showers you notified us about but we were informed that your husband had dealt with the problem and had been rectified by him and there was no mention of a drains smell to us at any point during your stay. We are sorry that some issues affected your stay but all points that you requested us to manage we did as quickly as possible. We are glad you enjoyed your stay overall and we do hope that you will be back again in the future.

A fabulous stay

The managing agents (Dean & Louise) were brilliant throughout, we'd originally booked for a stay in July 2020 but with COVID happening we had to reschedule - twice. Each time Dean was very helpful and at last we managed to take our holiday at Mirador. When we arrived Louise was on hand to introduce & explain everything we needed. The house was lovely & clean, and very spacious. The outside area around the pool is fantastic, lots of comfortable furniture and room for us all. We stayed for 3 weeks and did notice the peace & quiet in the surrounding neighbourhood depends on who the neighbours are - most were unnoticeable but there was a particular group who proved rather noisy for a while. But it's a price worth paying to be a short walk away from some lovely restaurants and small supermarket, we were able to just leave the cars parked up for most of our stay. Highly recommended!

Thanks so much Chris for looking after the villa for us. I am so pleased that you eventually were able to come and enjoy everything the area has to offer. We would love to see you again. All the best Dean and Louise

EXCELLENT LOCATION

The property was in very good condition with the most beautiful views overlooking the ocean. The villa was clean and well maintained with everything in very good working order. If we were to be there in the hotter months, we would definitely require air conditioning but would definitely return to visit. The service we received from Dean and his co-workers was excellent and would highly recommend this Villa for rental.

A little slice of Heaven

We have recently returned from a four-weeks holiday staying in Casa Mirador. The villa is in a wonderful private location overlooking the Mediterranean sea. Casa Mirador is spacious and very comfortable . It has an elegance of a bygone Spanish era with vaulted ceilings, with marble floors throughout the property. The house has been recently refurbished and is spotlessly clean. There are three bedrooms all with en-suite facilities. The beds are extremely comfortable with memory-foam toppers. There is air conditioning in each bedroom. The kitchen has new appliances which includes a dishwasher, washer dryer, hob and oven and a fridge freezer. There is an Nespresso coffee machine and a blender, (for my smoothies). The lounge has a comfortable sofa unit and a day bed. There is gas central heating throughout, and we found it very comfortable and easy to control. There is excellent wifi and a new large plasma screen, smart TV, with numerous channel selections. Outside there is a large recreational area with wrap around gardens which are private and not overlooked. The sea view from here is breathtaking!!!! Patio furnishings, bbq, and sun loungers are new and comfortable. The booking and communications with Louise and Dean of White Coast Properties was excellent. We were met warmly by Louise who had prepared the villa for us and provided us with a welcome pack of provisions. She walked us through the house and explained the facilities and how to operate them. This is the second time we have rented using White Coast Properties, and would have no hesitation of using them in the future. This villa definitely has the ‘wow-factor’ and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were very sad to say goodbye.
