Vista Montgo is a beautiful family villa with mountain views, great outside space and only a 5 minute drive to the main Arenal beach in Javea. The villa comprises of 2 double bedrooms and one twin bedroom all with fitted wardrobes and air-conditioning with all the bedrooms on the same level. Adjacent to the bathrooms are 2 bathrooms, a full family bathroom with bath and shower and a second bathroom with large walk-in shower. On the same level you will find the well equipped kitchen, large living room with leather sofas, UK and Spanish TV, Fibre optic hi speed internet, ceiling fan and air-conditioning. To the rear of the living room is a spacious dining room with floor to ceiling patio windows and views of the Montgo mountain. From the dining room a further small terrace with breakfast table looks down over the pool area and is covered by a sun shade to escape the midday sun. You access the pool area via a small exterior staircase. There is an 8mx4m pool which can be heated on request between the months of October to May (at additional cost). There is a large pool terrace with sun loungers and parasols. To the rear of the pool terrace another small set of steps lead to a further shaded pergola with seating for 6 and a small terrace and fish pond. The fish pond is caged and is safe for small children as there is no access to the water.

To the rear of the property is the large summer kitchen and dining area with a further widescreen TV with UK freeview channels, dining table and breakfast bar. The summer kitchen is fully equipped with fridge freezer, oven, utensils and a Weber gas BBQ. An awning provides shade from the summer sun.

The villa has a large driveway sufficient for 3 cars and is located on a quite cul de sac with no through traffic. There are electric security gates and intercom to gain access and the property is alarmed.

Below the main villa there is a further washroom and laundry facilities and to the right of the pool in the under-build of the property is a further bathroom for guest use.

Locally there is a Pharmacy at the end of the road and also a good local market within 5 minutes walk. The main super market is only a 5 minute drive away and Cala Blanca the nearest stone beach is only a 5 minute stroll away with a number of excellent restaurants and bars both at the beach and on the road between the beach and the villa.

Golf: Within 10 minutes drive of the apartment is Javea Golf Club situated between Moraira and Javea and is open all year round. The course is a 9 hole, par 72 and 3,035 metres. The course is easy to play and relatively flat. Other facilities include: driving range, putting green, heated swimming pool, club bar and restaurant. The Olazabal designed La Sella Golf Course is 15 minutes drive inland near the village of Jesus Pobre. The course has 18 holes, par 72 and is 6,029 metres. The course although flat has many trees and water obstacles and presents a very good challenge. Facilities include: driving range, putting green, motorised trolleys, club bar, lounge bar, restaurant and swimming pool. Both Javea and La Sella clubs have tennis and squash courts. Within a half hour drive north in Oliva is Oliva Nova Golf Club, designed by Seve Ballesteros. This testing course 18 holes, par 72 and 7,051 metres. The club has a shop, driving range, restaurant, swimming pool and fitness centre.

Other areas to explore: Javea is made up of three areas, the Arenal with its beautiful sandy beach, bars and restaurants. During the summer evenings the Arenal is busy with crafts stalls, artists and musicians. The port area with its fish market and promenade and the old town with its narrow streets, shops, historic buildings. There is a colourful market every Thursday morning. 10k from Javea is the town and port of Denia with daily crossings to the Balearic islands. Denia boasts miles of sandy beaches with its tree lined streets, pavement cafes, bars and restaurants. The resort of Benidorm is only a 30 minutes drive away and close by is Terra Mitica, which is one of Europes largest theme parks. Visit Aqualandia a themed water park and next door Mundomar with its dolphins, seals and parrots. A drive to Guadalest is a must with its quaint shops, narrow cobbled winding streets and spectacular views from the village square.

Javea Town: Javea lies between pine-covered Cabo De La Nao to the South and Cabo De San Antonio to the North. The town is ideal for a family holiday, especially in the Spring when the area is ablaze with blossom from the almonds and the scents of orange and lemon trees fill the air. The World Health Organisation has proclaimed Javea to be ‘environmentally near perfect’ and you can bask in the Costa Blanca’s brightest sunshine here on about 320 days of the year. Javea town nestles at the foot of 2,500 feet Mount Montgo, a designated nature reserve. It boasts a 16th century church, covered market and for the historically minded a museum housing a nationally important collection of rare Iberian finds from Montgo. After exploring the town’s fascinating narrow streets you can make your way to the old fishing port about 1 mile away. To the south of the old town lies the Arenal beach, a broad crescent of fine golden sand backed by a promenade of shops and restaurants.

La Guardia/Cabo De La Nao areas: Be sure to stop at the ‘Miradors’ (viewing points), several of which are located within a few minutes drive of Casa Mallandos. Without exception, they offer stunning views from cliff top perches of rocky coves and crystal clear water. This is snorkelling territory at its best, reminiscent of Cornwall but with guaranteed good weather! From Cabo De La Nao, it is possible on a clear day to see all the way to Ibiza 100 kms away. Also close by is the idyllic bay of La Granadella, so picturesque that it is often featured on Javea’s postcards.
