Casa Historica is a - A unique house in Javea. A large family home in the centre of Javea's magnificent Old Town (pueblo). A large town house set across 2 floors with 5 bedrooms spread across 2 separate levels with each level able to be rented independently of the other but with full and private use of the rest of this amazing character filled property. you can choose to rent the whole space or just one of the 2 suites available at the house.
This historic house is perfect for exploring Javea and its old town restaurants and bars as well as being only 5 minutes drive to the port and 10 minutes to the Arenal beach. Off site parking is available 5 minutes walk away in Plaza de la Consitucion where there is a pay car park with spaces always available except on Thursday when it is market day.
The Master Suite
This level on the upper floor consists of 2 large en suite bedrooms with king size beds sleeping 4 people. The 2 rooms are separated by a fabulous mezzanine landing with vaulted ceilings, overlooking the impressive living room below. The stairs from the mezzanine lead to a lovely gin and tonic terrace overlooking the roof of tops of the Old Town where you can listen to the church bells and watch the sun go down. This level has access to all the communal facilities in the spacious modern kitchen and huge living room with widescreen TV and Wi-Fi througout.
The Family Suite
Set on the lower level adjacent to the living room and entrance hall. The family suite is a perfect set of rooms to come and stay in the real Javea. Consisting of a large double bedroom, a second room with 2 single adult sized bunk beds and a further bedroom perfect for a teenager with a large single sofa bed. The fantastic space gives access to the living room, balconies, terrace and kitchen without access to the upper levels. Widescreen TV and Wi-Fi throughout.
On of the special qualities of the Casa Historica is that it is at the centre of all the local fiestas and in particular is an amazing place to come and experience the week of San Juan ,the Javea Jazz festival, 3 Kings at Christmas and many other amazing parties in the area.

Golf: Within 10 minutes drive of the house is Javea Golf Club situated between Moraira and Javea and is open all year round. The course is a 9 hole, par 72 and 3,035 metres. The course is easy to play and relatively flat. Other facilities include: driving range, putting green, heated swimming pool, club bar and restaurant. The Olazabal designed La Sella Golf Course is 20 minutes drive inland near the village of Jesus Pobre. The course has 18 holes, par 72 and is 6,029 metres. The course although flat has many trees and water obstacles and presents a very good challenge. Facilities include: driving range, putting green, motorised trolleys, club bar, lounge bar, restaurant and swimming pool. Both Javea and La Sella clubs have tennis and squash courts. Within an hour drive north in Oliva is Oliva Nova Golf Club, designed by Seve Ballesteros. This testing course 18 holes, par 72 and 7,051 metres. The club has a shop, driving range, restaurant, swimming pool and fitness centre.
Other areas to explore: Javea is made up of three areas, the Arenal with its beautiful sandy beach, bars and restaurants. During the summer evenings the Arenal is busy with crafts stalls, artists and musicians. The port area with its fish market and promenade and the old town with its narrow streets, shops, historic buildings. There is a colourful market every Thursday morning. 10k from Javea is the town and port of Denia with daily crossings to the Balearic islands. Denia boasts miles of sandy beaches with its tree lined streets, pavement cafes, bars and restaurants. The resort of Benidorm is only a 30 minutes drive away and close by is Terra Mitica, which is one of Europes largest theme parks. Visit Aqualandia a themed water park and next door Mundomar with its dolphins, seals and parrots. A drive to Guadalest is a must with its quaint shops, narrow cobbled winding streets and spectacular views from the village square.
Javea Old Town is ideal for a family holiday, especially in the Spring when the area is ablaze with blossom from the almonds and the scents of orange and lemon trees fill the air. The World Health Organisation has proclaimed Javea to be ‘environmentally near perfect’ and you can bask in the Costa Blanca’s brightest sunshine here on about 320 days of the year. Javea town nestles at the foot of 2,500 feet Mount Montgo, a designated nature reserve. It boasts a 16th century church, covered market and for the historically minded a museum housing a nationally important collection of rare Iberian finds from Montgo. After exploring the town’s fascinating narrow streets you can make your way to the old fishing port about 1 mile away. To the south of the old town lies the Arenal beach, a broad crescent of fine golden sand backed by a promenade of shops and restaurants.
La Guardia/Cabo De La Nao areas: Be sure to stop at the ‘Miradors’ (viewing points), several of which are located within a few minutes drive of Casa Mallandos. Without exception, they offer stunning views from cliff top perches of rocky coves and crystal clear water. This is snorkelling territory at its best, reminiscent of Cornwall but with guaranteed good weather! From Cabo De La Nao, it is possible on a clear day to see all the way to Ibiza 100 kms away. Also close by is the idyllic bay of La Granadella, so picturesque that it is often featured on Javea’s postcards.
